Job Overview

Position: Infrastructure Developer

Duration: Full-time, Permanent

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement scalable systems for hosting cloud-based applications and solutions.
  2. Integrate with key SaaS infrastructure components and development frameworks.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop internal and external solutions.
  4. Develop in the SaaS Platform team using:
    1. Spring Framework/Java – Code base.
    2. Big Data Infrastructure – Spark/Hadoop.
    3. Advanced reporting frameworks.

Required Skills and Experience:

We seek a highly skilled professional with:

  1. A degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in developing web-based applications using Java/J2EE.
  2. Knowledge of shell scripting (BASH) and Unix operating systems.
  3. Demonstrated experience with:
    1. JBoss and Jetty.
    2. Databases – particularly Oracle and PostgreSQL.
    3. STS/Eclipse or similar IDE.
    4. Ideal knowledge of JQuery, Spark/Hadoop, and Nagios plugins/deployments.
