Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Service Technician to join our team in British Columbia. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mobility equipment, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring that clients' needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and Repair Equipment: Troubleshoot and repair mobility equipment, including wheelchairs and custom mobility devices, using diagnostic tools and power equipment.
- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Prioritize a friendly, professional, and compassionate approach to customer interactions, ensuring that clients' needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
- Travel and Mobility: Travel to clients' homes and community facilities to accommodate their needs, working 8-hour shifts and adapting to changing schedules as required.
- Technical Skills: Previous experience in customer service and assembling or repairing equipment, with exposure to using diagnostic tools and power equipment.
- Empathy and Communication: Ability to navigate any situation in a friendly, professional, and compassionate manner, prioritizing the comfort and urgency of clients.
- Additional Requirements: Valid G-class driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Competitive Compensation: Salary range from $20 - $30 per hour, depending on skills, experience, and geographic location.
