Job Title: Senior Accountant

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their team on a contract basis. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks, including bank reconciliations, budgeting, and financial statement preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Develop and manage budgets for various departments
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Prepare and submit GAAP reports to management and stakeholders
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required by management
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a non-profit organization
  • Prior experience in full-cycle accounting, including financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, with ability to learn and adapt to new software
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with management and stakeholders
  • Available to start immediately
