Salary: $63,453 - $68,500 CAD per annum
Responsibilities:
- Compile and evaluate SDTM and ADaM dataset specifications, annotated patient Case Report Forms (aCRF), and related programming documentation for integration in reports, adhering to company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
- Process SDTM and ADaM datasets according to authorized specifications, including datasets for Clinical Study Reports (CSRs) and other data analysis needs.
- Validate data and statistical output reports based on statistical analysis plans through SAS programming.
- Conduct analyses of clinical trial data trends by developing SAS codes for database checks and reports.
- Consolidate data and programming information from various sources to prepare reports for audit readiness during clinical trials.
- Achieve high ratings for defined statistical programming Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Archive clinical trial data and programming information according to company archival SOPs.
- Stay updated on pharmaceutical clinical research industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Comply with company-specific and clinical trial training requirements.
- Provide expertise in programming and system administration as needed.
- May lead statistical research efforts for assigned projects.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of clinical trial data and statistical reporting standards.
- Offer technical guidance to less experienced Statistical Programmers.
- Make decisions on project timelines and resource allocation.
- Determine therapeutic area programming standards as a lead programmer.
- Make decisions related to client-specific programming standards when required.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, bioinformatics, mathematics, or computer sciences.
- 1-3 years of experience in clinical trial statistical programming and/or data analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in SAS.
- Demonstrated strong capabilities as a Statistical Programmer.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
- Experience with statistical software is preferred.
- Must possess strong problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and the capacity to learn quickly.
