Responsibilities
  • Observe, monitor, and document residents' physical and psychological conditions.
  • Provide and assist with personal care to residents as required.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control practices.
  • Assess resident health status, including differentiating between normal and abnormal physical findings, recognizing deviations from mental health baseline, and differentiating between dementia and delirium.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized Practical Nursing program.
  • Active registration with the BCCNM as an LPN.
  • Occupational First Aide Level 1 certification.
  • Satisfactory proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
