About the Role

Feth Farms Ltd. is seeking a skilled and physically fit Farm Laborer to join our team. As a Farm Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our farm, including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planting and Cultivation: Assist in planting and cultivating crops, including preparing soil, sowing seeds, and applying fertilizers.
  • Crop Maintenance: Monitor and maintain crop health, including identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Harvesting: Assist in harvesting crops, including picking, sorting, and packing produce.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, loaders, and other equipment.
  • Quality Control: Examine produce for quality and readiness for market.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work Environment: Work in a rural area, outdoors, with exposure to wet/damp, dusty, and hot conditions.
Working Conditions
  • Hours of Work: 40 to 60 hours per week.
  • Work Schedule: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Overtime: Overtime required.
