Fero Waste and Recycling Inc., a division of The Municipal Group of Companies, is a leading provider of solid waste management services in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Swing driver to join our team based out of our Saint John, NB location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Class 3 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to meet contractual requirements
  • Conduct daily pre and post-trip inspections of assigned trucks
  • Communicate with dispatchers to receive delivery instructions and updates
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment under varying traffic and road conditions
  • Ensure a safe work environment and comply with all safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements:

  • Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driver abstract
  • Class 3 driver's license in good standing
  • Ability to follow a firm work schedule and work in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
  • Previous waste and recycling experience is an asset
