In this role, you will play a pivotal part in leveraging Salesforce to drive BRP's success. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining complex Salesforce solutions that align with our business processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Salesforce solutions, encompassing custom applications, configurations, and enhancements.
  • Customize Salesforce applications to meet specific business needs, including creating custom objects, fields, workflow rules, and validation rules.
  • Integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications, both on-premises and in the cloud, utilizing technologies like REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Lead data import, export, and migration tasks, ensuring data quality and integrity within Salesforce.
  • Implement and maintain robust security and access controls to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Write efficient, well-structured, and maintainable Apex code, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components to optimize system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing solutions to user problems and system errors.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all Salesforce customizations, processes, and integrations.
  • Stay informed of Salesforce best practices and new features, recommending their implementation to enhance system efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor the junior Salesforce development team, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and execute test plans, conduct code reviews, and ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Salesforce certifications, such as Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I and II, are highly desirable.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Senior Salesforce Developer with successful project implementations in a similar-sized company.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce development tools, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and SOQL.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
  • Experience with Salesforce integration techniques and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, SOX).
