Job Title: Analyst / Associate, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance Advisory - Toronto

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst or Associate to join our Corporate Finance Advisory team in Toronto. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting senior members in generating new business opportunities and executing transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and analyze the financial needs of corporate clients
  • Collect and interpret company, industry, and market data
  • Complete credit rating analysis and scenario analysis using external credit rating methodologies
  • Create well-thought-out analysis and deliver high-quality presentations
  • Facilitate the execution of ratings advisory mandates and support drafting of rating agency presentations and marketing materials
  • Collect, maintain, and analyze client, market, and product data
  • Identify and develop business opportunities with clients

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of corporate and/or investment banking or leveraged finance experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Math, Engineering, Economics, Science, or Technology
  • CFA, CPA, or equivalent designation is an asset
  • Proven record of outstanding achievement in academic and extracurricular activities
