The National Research Council of Canada (NRC) is on the lookout for a skilled Geospatial Full Stack Engineer (React) to contribute to the Ocean, Coastal and River Engineering (OCRE) Research Centre. This role is essential in developing cutting-edge solutions to address engineering challenges across diverse environments.
Primary Duties:
- Design and implement data-driven web platforms for the dissemination of data, maps, and visual dashboards
- Build tailored geospatial web applications and tools
- Assist researchers in adopting new technologies to enhance research productivity
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proficient in React, mapping libraries, AWS services, and Python programming
- Familiarity with web API development and Docker containerization
Skills:
- Strong expertise in creating Single Page Applications utilizing React
- Skilled in handling geospatial data and employing mapping libraries
- Excellent collaboration and client-oriented skills
Compensation Package:
Salary range: $89,548 to $112,660 annually
Additional perks include comprehensive health and dental plans, pension contributions, and various insurance options.
