About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Eurostar Auto Repair Ltd. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, reviewing work orders, and adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, ensuring that all vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Review Work Orders: Review work orders to determine the necessary repairs and maintenance required for each vehicle.
  • Adjust, Repair or Replace Parts: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, ensuring that all repairs are done to a high standard.
  • Estimate Parts and Labour Costs: Estimate parts and labour costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring that all costs are accurate and transparent.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance service on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks.
  • Complete Reports: Complete reports to record problems and work performed, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Provide Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all customers are satisfied with the work performed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail required.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, and reliable.
