We are seeking a skilled Boat Carpenter to join our team at Neptunus Yachts International Inc. as a Marine Construction Specialist.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials for boat construction.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware for marine vessels.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure timely completion of projects and meet customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain a high level of expertise in woodworking and marine construction techniques.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
- Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver's licence for transportation to and from work sites.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate reliability, accuracy and efficiency.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling and standing for extended periods.
- Experience in boat building or marine construction.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the marine industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
