We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Technology Solutions Team at CMHC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Azure DevOps pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multiple projects to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Create and manage development, staging, and production environments to ensure consistency and alignment with project requirements.
  • Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and version control using Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Implement security checks and collaborate with the security team and developers to address vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for DevOps processes, procedures, and infrastructure configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the software development process and streamline workflows.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience programming, developing, and implementing business applications.
  • Strong expertise in Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven experience as an Azure DevOps engineer or similar role.
  • Familiarity with source control systems and branching strategies.
  • Experience with containerization technologies.
  • Proven interpersonal, leadership, and business competencies, including teamwork, facilitation, communication, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate degree or certificate in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Technical certifications in application architecture, cloud development, and administration.
