About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Home Trust Company. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in facilitating requirements gathering sessions with business clients and stakeholders to gather business and process flow requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with business clients and stakeholders to gather business and process flow requirements.
- Accurately and completely translate results of requirements gathering sessions into usable project documentation.
- Ensure requirements captured are clear, accurate, and detailed enough to support downstream design, development activities efficiently and effectively.
- Analyze, document, and communicate the impact of changes for implementation planning.
- Update requirements documents as required to keep them current throughout the full lifecycle of a product.
- Ensure business requirements are clear and captured to provide full traceability through the Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to support quality assurance of applications prior to their release into production.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma required in Technology, Engineering, Business, or equivalent.
- Certification(s)/Designation(s) preferred in related area.
- 3+ years of experience in business and/or systems analysis, requirements planning, and documentation.
- Solid knowledge of online banking, retail banking, mortgage lending, and visa processing.
- Leading detailed requirement phases, identifying, tracking, escalating, and/or resolving business systems issues.
- Good working knowledge of business processing models and data modeling practices.
- Solid understanding of current IT infrastructure components.
