About the Role

CASURE SENIORS ASSOCIATION is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team. As a Healthcare Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide Personal Care: Provide personal care to clients, including toileting, feeding, and transferring.
  • Assist with Medication Management: Assist clients with medication management, including administering medication and monitoring side effects.
  • Provide Emotional Support: Provide emotional support to clients, including listening to their concerns and providing reassurance.
  • Assist with Household Chores: Assist clients with household chores, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate and Health Care Aide Certificate.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ability to lift 25 kg.
