Job Title: Multimedia Graphic Design Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Graphic Design Technician to join our team at KFA Architects Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming digitized images using retouching systems, graphic palettes, or specialized software. They will design and layout pages, produce project designs, and arrange for project printing and publication. The ideal candidate will have excellent computer and technology knowledge, including Adobe Freehand, MS Excel, MS Windows, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transform digitized images using retouching systems, graphic palettes, or specialized software
  • Design and layout pages
  • Produce project designs
  • Arrange for project printing and publication
  • Digitize images using peripherals and transform them using retouching systems, graphic palettes, or specialized software
  • Perform the layout, page make-up, and placement using conceptual mock-ups provided
  • Produce computerized images and drawings
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience or equivalent experience
  • Excellent computer and technology knowledge, including Adobe Freehand, MS Excel, MS Windows, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat Reader
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. They will be required to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
