Night Shift - Monday to Friday.

– Reporting to the QA Supervisor, this role encompasses the responsibility of ensuring that the manufacturing process adheres to exceptional food safety protocols (HACCP) and quality benchmarks from the reception of raw materials through to the processing of products and the dispatch of finished goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare samples, media, and buffers essential for daily evaluations.
  • Conduct chemical and microbiological assessments of dairy items.
  • Generate test outcomes with a high degree of precision and dependability.
  • Compile reports and perform data entry to maintain accurate records.
  • Oversee laboratory apparatus and ensure cleanliness within the laboratory environment.
  • Collaborate closely with production personnel regarding sanitation, hygiene, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and related training requirements.
  • Responsible for instructing operators on any modifications to the Food Safety & Quality system as directed by Management and Quality Assurance.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the food sector.
  • A Bachelor of Science Degree or Diploma in Microbiology or Food Science.
  • Familiarity with microbiological techniques and autoclaving methods.
  • Understanding of HACCP, GMPs, allergens, and food security measures.
  • Possession of personal transportation and availability to work weekends.
