Qualifications- Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in plumbing
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the plumbing field
- Install plumbing fixtures and systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine plumbing system layouts, including water supply and drainage
- Identify and mark locations for pipe connections and fixtures
- Prepare openings in walls and floors for pipe installation
- Connect pipes using various methods such as couplings, clamps, and welding techniques
- Conduct leak tests on piping systems using pressure gauges
- Estimate project costs and required materials
- Measure, cut, and shape pipes to specifications
- Completion of a criminal record check
- Successful drug screening
