We are seeking an exceptional individual to contribute to our mission of being recognized as a leading student-focused institution. As a vital member of our academic community, you will play a key role in guiding students towards discovering their passions and achieving their goals.

Position Overview: We are looking for a full-time Professor of Aviation to deliver high-quality instruction to students pursuing aviation studies at the collegiate level. The successful candidate will support flight training from initial stages to advanced multi-engine instrument ratings, while also engaging in curriculum design, teaching assigned courses, and providing academic leadership. We aim to impart the knowledge and expertise acquired from professional piloting experience in both passenger and cargo operations to our students.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot License
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as flight crew in 604, 703, 704, or 705 operations
  • A valid Group 1 Instrument Rating, with at least 500 hours as Pilot in Command of multi-engine aircraft
    • Operational multi-crew experience is preferred
  • Flight Instructor Rating
    • A valid Class 1 or 2 Aeroplane Flight Instructor Rating is preferred
    • Experience as a training captain in a commercial flight operation is an asset
  • An Aviation Diploma or Bachelor's Degree
    • Teaching credentials or relevant experience are preferred
    • A post-graduate degree is considered an asset
  • Experience in 604, 703, 704, or 705 operations management, flight planning, or dispatch, along with familiarity with related software applications is advantageous
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration within a team environment
  • A deep commitment to academic excellence and student achievement
  • Demonstrated exceptional flying skills
