About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Developer to join our team at KPMG-Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with software developers to build and deploy scalable and secure applications
  • Automate the build, test, and deployment process using industry-leading tools and technologies
  • Manage and maintain version control systems to ensure seamless collaboration and code quality
  • Set up and manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software releases
  • Monitor and manage the performance and availability of systems and applications to ensure optimal user experience
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during the development and deployment process to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity
  • Work with cloud computing platforms, such as Microsoft Azure, to design and implement scalable and secure cloud-based solutions
  • Implement and manage containerization solutions to ensure efficient and reliable software deployment
  • Provide technical support for application deployments and issues in production environments to ensure seamless user experience
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tools, technologies, and best practices in DevOps to ensure our team remains at the forefront of innovation
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience implementing DevOps solutions in a cloud-based environment
  • Experience with automation tools, such as Azure DevOps and GitHub
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as C#, Java, or Python
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and containerization technologies, such as Docker
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as Azure and AWS
  • Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools, such as Terraform
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to ensure optimal system performance and availability
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and good communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and communicate technical concepts and analysis to non-technical stakeholders
  • High degree of motivation and enthusiasm for a variety of challenges and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent academic record and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • University degree in a field such as computer science, science, or engineering
  • Strong sense of responsibility and entrepreneurial spirit, with a focus on innovation and problem-solving
  • Fluency in French is required; English is optional
