CNC Machinist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Jeda Industries in Coquitlam. This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling options, including 4 x 10 hour days or 5 x 8 hour days.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes for production of high-tolerance aluminum parts.
  • Program with Mastercam software.
  • Read and interpret shop drawings to ensure accurate part production.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure part accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist junior employees with equipment setup and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a machine shop setting, with proficiency in CNC Mills and Lathes.
  • Basic programming skills using Mastercam.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
