Accounting Analyst

Kwantlen Polytechnic University is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Analyst to join our team. As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for providing analysis, reporting, guidance, and support to the Kwantlen Polytechnic University community, the Kwantlen Polytechnic University Foundation, and external agencies on budgetary, financial and enrolment information.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide analysis and reporting on budgetary, financial and enrolment information to support decision-making.
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to inform budgeting and financial planning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address financial and operational issues.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis.
- Proficient in financial software and systems, including Excel, financial planning and analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
