Available Position:
Instructor, Carpenter
Compensation: $31.87 to $48.95 per hour
Qualifications Required:
- Must possess an Alberta or Red Seal Journeyperson Carpenter Certificate.
- Experience in teaching or mentoring within educational or trades environments.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean Criminal Record check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the trades or related industries.
- Background in adult education.
- Experience working with indigenous or remote communities.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare instructional materials.
- Deliver engaging instruction tailored to diverse learning styles.
- Assess and report on student performance.
- Collaborate with industry, government, and community stakeholders.
- Coordinate with other departments to enhance student success.
- Handle administrative duties related to the program.
- Support student recruitment and enrollment efforts.
- Monitor student attendance and provide necessary interventions.
- Maintain confidentiality of student records.
