We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser to join our team at Nova Scotia SPCA. - Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Visual Merchandising: Create visually appealing store displays, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure that merchandise is properly priced and labeled.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our retail team to achieve sales goals, share knowledge and best practices, and support each other in achieving our objectives.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in database software, spreadsheet, and internet applications.
This is a permanent, part-time position, working 16 to 32 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
