Job Summary

The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a skilled Emergency Duty Worker to join our team. As an Emergency Duty Worker, you will be responsible for providing critical support during emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergency situations and provide critical support to affected individuals and communities
  • Collaborate with emergency response teams to coordinate relief efforts
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans to mitigate the impact of disasters
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to individuals in need

Requirements

  • Preference will be given to qualified equity group members who self-declare in this online application
  • Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations

Working Conditions

  • Work will be performed in a variety of settings, including emergency response situations
  • Candidates must be able to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Regular travel may be required

Security Clearance

  • The successful candidate shall be subject to a Criminal Record Check, including a vulnerable sector query, as a condition of employment
