Reliability Engineer Opportunity

Location: High Prairie, Alberta

Tolko Industries is seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to join our High Prairie OSB Division. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing maintenance-related projects. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major rebuild and modernization of our mill, including the commissioning of a new continuous press.

We are looking for a skilled and analytical Reliability Engineer with RCA and FMEA experience to lead our maintenance team. Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  1. Post-secondary education in Engineering or a related field.
  2. Strong communication and leadership skills.
  3. Proficiency with RCA/RCFA and FMEA.
  4. Proven experience in project management.
  5. Excellent people skills.
  6. Experience with data analysis, lubrication, vibration, and ultrasound.
  7. Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

In this role, you will:

  1. Lead a small team and take charge of all predictive and preventative maintenance projects.
  2. Partner with members of the team to problem solve and implement innovative solutions.
  3. Encourage and recognize the contributions of others.
  4. Keep your team safe by ensuring all provincial and safety regulations are adhered to.
  5. Manage the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closing of reliability projects and improvements.
  6. Develop, implement, and track reliability KPIs.
  7. Utilize your comprehension of blueprints and designs to troubleshoot and understand our equipment.
