Mid-Level Interior Designer - Workplace

We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to enhance our dynamic team. As a key member of our design studio, you will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, including architects and engineers, to create innovative design solutions that promote community wellbeing and urban vibrancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the interior design, architecture, and engineering teams to craft distinctive design solutions tailored to our integrated projects.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination throughout the design process, from initial programming and concept development to space planning and technical documentation.
  • Oversee the selection and specification of furniture, finishes, equipment, and accessories, including the preparation of FF+E documentation.
  • Prepare and present design concepts for both internal and external meetings, utilizing 2D and 3D rendering techniques.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure effective communication within the team and with external consultants.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining project budgets and timelines.
  • Coordinate the preparation of essential project documents, including meeting minutes, schedules, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and construction regulations.
  • Conduct on-site visits and field reviews, providing direction to contractors and vendors as necessary.
  • Lead site deficiency reviews and installation inspections.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Interior Design consulting, demonstrating strong knowledge and creativity throughout the design process.
  • A Bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field; NCIDQ certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Photoshop, and InDesign; experience with Sketch-up and Rhino is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, accountability, and motivation.
  • Proven experience in engaging with clients from programming and conceptual design phases through to construction.
  • Experience in innovative workplace design, particularly in technology-focused office environments, is preferred.
  • A passion for design, with the ability to translate concepts into unique and functional solutions.
  • A driven individual eager to grow and develop both personally and professionally.
