Job Title: Driver Educator

Chinook School Division No. 211 is seeking a qualified Driver Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the Driver's Education Program to students of the Chinook School Division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver the Driver's Education Program to students of the Chinook School Division.
  • Work under the direction of the Superintendent of Schools.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote learning.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum.
Requirements:
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Meet all requirements outlined by SGI for admission into Driver Educator training.
  • Hold a valid Class 5 license with a minimum of 5 consecutive years of experience.
  • Hold a valid Class 4 license or higher or be able to obtain a Class 4 license prior to the instructor course.
  • Have a satisfactory driving record over the past 10 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possessing a High School Driver Education Instructor's Certificate is an asset.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to undergo training.
  • Possesses the ability and experience in working with students.
  • Ability to obtain a certificate of good health from a qualified medical practitioner.
