Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care, adhering to established protocols and physician orders.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and conditions of residents, and initiate appropriate health measures.
  • Organize and direct functions related to resident care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with nursing and personal care staff to manage workload and provide training and development opportunities.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and respectful work environment.

Requirements:

  • Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
  • Registration/eligibility for registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
  • Previous experience in long-term care, with comprehensive knowledge of duties.
  • Excellent communication and comprehension skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
