Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Technician to join our team at Davidson Contract Services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in vehicle body repair and restoration, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in automotive body repair.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Replace damaged front end components, body parts, doors, and frame elements.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by filing, grinding, and sanding.
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces to ensure precise painting.
  • Repair dents, buckles, and imperfections using appropriate tools.
  • Remove and replace damaged fenders, panels, and grills, ensuring proper installation.
  • Apply primers and paint to restore vehicle surfaces.
  • Mix and match paint colors for optimal results.
  • Utilize soldering equipment or plastic fillers to address holes and seams.
Certifications

Possession of a Motor Vehicle Body Repairer Trade Certification is required.
