Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Polisher of Stone Products to join our team at Imac Enterprises Corp. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing ongoing machine adjustments, operating stone-dressing lathes, and finishing stone products with spray paint and by mounting plaques or installing concrete bases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ongoing machine adjustments to ensure optimal performance
  • Operate stone-dressing lathes to sharpen and dress grindstones that grind logs into pulp
  • Finish stone products with spray paint and by mounting plaques or installing concrete bases
  • Finish surfaces of castings using screed or trowel
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite
  • Clean, polish, file, or otherwise finish products
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a manufacturing and industrial plant environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
