Required Qualifications: ARRT Registry Certification in MRI; Minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI operations. State licensure in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, and/or Ultrasound is essential. The MRI technologist must demonstrate proficient computer skills and technical expertise to deliver high-quality MRI images in alignment with Watson Clinic's commitment to exceptional patient care.
Strong verbal communication skills are crucial, along with the ability to maintain composure in potentially high-pressure situations.
The ideal candidate will exhibit professionalism, accountability, dedication, and a proactive approach to achieving objectives and managing resources effectively.
Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Additional Qualifications: Candidates should display above-average intelligence, precision, a cooperative attitude, and a neat, professional appearance, reflecting the department's esteemed reputation.
Role Overview
The MRI technologist plays a vital role as a team member focused on shared goals.
In this capacity, the individual operates the MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images for physician review. The technologist oversees the imaging process, making adjustments for clarity and resolution to ensure the radiologist receives high-quality diagnostic images. Responsibilities include adhering to licensure scope and established protocols, policies, and procedures to achieve optimal diagnostic imaging results. The MRI Technologist also shares responsibility for all patient and team-related functions and performs additional tasks as directed by the supervisor or lead technologist. Strong communication skills are essential for effectively preparing patients for MRI examinations.
Note: The sign-on bonus will be disbursed in full upon successful completion of the probationary period. A two-year commitment is required. This offer is exclusive to new employees.
