About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to join our team at Ontario Energy Care Services. As an Electrical Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting metal and prefabricated parts to close tolerances according to blueprints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and fit metal and prefabricated parts to close tolerances according to blueprints
  • Collect, record and summarize inspection results
  • Work with electrical control equipment, electrical distribution panels, and electric transformers
  • Use AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word for documentation and record-keeping
  • Operate metal fabricating equipment and production machinery
  • Perform electrical assemblies and wiring
  • Work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in electrical fitting or a related field
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Flexibility, organization, and reliability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
