Position Overview

Qualifications

Work Environment

The position requires working in a dusty and outdoor setting, which may be physically demanding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide the growth of crops, ensuring they develop in optimal conditions.
  • Secure and tie plants to promote healthy growth.
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of general farm workers and harvesting laborers.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs for operational efficiency.
  • Operate and maintain various farm machinery and equipment.
Supervisory Responsibilities

The supervisor will manage a team of 3-10 individuals, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Crops and Equipment

This role focuses on the cultivation of blueberries and requires experience with:

  • Fertilizer applicators
  • Sprayers or dusters
  • Tractors
Physical Requirements

Applicants should be prepared for a physically demanding role, requiring stamina and strength.

Tools and Equipment

Personal protective equipment such as gloves is necessary for safe operation.

Work Schedule

This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week, primarily conducted in English.
