FREMIE LINDAWAN is seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to join our team. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a family setting.
Responsibilities:- Assume full responsibility for household management in the absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, promoting positive behavior and development
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, fostering their growth and independence
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all necessary safety protocols
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their physical and mental well-being
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring children receive a balanced diet
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods, establishing a consistent sleep routine
- Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment
- Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring timely and safe transportation
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing comfort and support when needed
- Assist children with homework, promoting their academic development and success
- Criminal record check
- Public transportation available
- Initiative, organized, reliable, time management, patience, and honesty
- Assistance with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing
FREMIE LINDAWAN offers a permanent position with 30 hours of work per week. The work environment is non-smoking, and optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis. The work setting is in an urban area, with work taking place in the employer's/client's home.
