In this role, you will take charge of the design, execution, and upkeep of embedded systems tailored for versatile robotic applications. Your collaboration with various teams will be essential in fostering innovation and enhancing the performance of robotic systems.

Position Overview:

  • Architect, implement, and sustain embedded systems
  • Oversee the development of real-time distributed systems
  • Engage with electrical and control teams on general-purpose robotic projects
  • Document, share, and collaborate on system improvements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in firmware development
  • In-depth understanding of engineering methodologies and agile practices
  • Proficiency in real-time embedded systems and industrial communication standards
  • Specialization in sensors, motion control, and robotics

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in C/C++ for embedded systems
  • Experience with real-time distributed systems and stringent real-time requirements
  • Knowledge of Linux and embedded Linux development
  • Familiarity with firmware tools such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and JTAG debuggers
  • Experience in FPGA development and hardware description languages
  • Understanding of ROS/ROS2 or similar robotic frameworks
