About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Stone Mason to join our team at ROLL STONE GRANITE COUNTERTOP INC. as a key member of our masonry team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units to construct and install various structures.
  • Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing for buildings and other structures.
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units, ensuring accurate placement and alignment.
  • Read and interpret sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required for projects.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools, ensuring precise cuts and finishes.
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Lay radial bricks to build masonry shells of industrial chimneys, meeting industry standards.
  • Lay or install firebricks to line industrial chimneys and smokestacks, ensuring proper installation and safety.
  • Line or reline furnaces, kilns, boilers and similar installations using refractory or acid-resistant bricks, refractory concretes, plastic refractories and other materials, adhering to manufacturer instructions.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regularly bending, crouching, and kneeling are required to perform tasks.
  • Work Term: Permanent

  • Hours: 35 hours per week
