Job Title: Senior Advisor Nonperforming Loans Management

At National Bank, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advisor to join our Nonperforming Loan team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in managing and analyzing impaired loans, ensuring accurate financial data, and providing expert advice to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a subject matter expert in accounting for impaired loans and loan losses, providing guidance and support to the organization.
  • Analyze and interpret complex financial data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Present financial information to stakeholders, including quarterly financial statements and regulatory reports.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data, applying month-end, quarter-end, and year-end controls.
  • Represent the Nonperforming Loan team on large-scale projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct risk analyses, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
Requirements:
  • Completed bachelor's degree in a related field, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with three years of experience.
  • CPA accounting designation (CA, CGA, or CMA).
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and data interpretation.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and ability to work with multiple systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
