We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Tandoori Grill Meat Shop. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment as needed
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient service
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food service environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
