At Health Careers in Saskatchewan, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with Additional Authorized Practice (RN(AAP)) to join our team at the Kamsack District Hospital & Nursing Home.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and experienced RN(AAP) to provide high-quality nursing services, including the diagnosis and treatment of limited common medical disorders, in accordance with the Clinical Decision Tools (CDT) and RN(AAP) Practice Standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing services, including the diagnosis and treatment of limited common medical disorders, in accordance with the CDT and RN(AAP) Practice Standards.
- Work collaboratively with the Health Services Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Utilize electronic medical records to document patient information and communicate with healthcare teams.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
- Two (2) years of related experience, including one year of experience working in an Emergency Room.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale Certificate (CTAS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS).
