Position: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Responsible for provisioning cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks resources for a prominent insurance organization.

Duration: 6 months with potential for extension
Location: Hybrid work model (two days a week in Toronto or Montreal)

Essential Qualifications:
  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in an AWS cloud environment (including S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, Data Backup, AWS Backup)
  2. Proficient in CI/CD and automation tools (such as Terraform, Jenkins, Github, Dynatrace, Prisma Cloud)
  3. Experience with Github and Github actions
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Familiarity with Snowflake and Databricks
  2. Understanding of Data Science, Data Engineering, and AI Engineering concepts
  3. Experience with Prisma Cloud
  4. Knowledge of Dynatrace
  5. Bilingual in French
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist various project teams in provisioning cloud infrastructure on AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks resources.
  2. Support project teams in developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Github actions for application deployment across different environments.
  3. Provide operational support to project teams, assisting Data Scientists, Data Engineers, AI Engineers, Business Analysts, and Quality Assurance teams with requests such as troubleshooting, access control, monitoring, alerting, patching, and other operational needs.
