Job Overview: The Sales Lead will play a crucial role in driving new business initiatives, nurturing existing client partnerships, and achieving or surpassing sales objectives. This position demands exceptional communication abilities, a strong customer-centric approach, and the capacity to operate both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through diverse channels, including cold outreach, networking, and participation in industry events.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and sustain positive business relationships to foster future sales and enhance customer loyalty.
  • Achieve Sales Goals: Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets through strategic planning and execution of sales initiatives.
  • Product Expertise: Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of our offerings and effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
  • Team Collaboration: Align sales efforts with team members and other departments to boost overall performance.
  • Sales Documentation: Keep precise records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline management using HubSpot. Provide regular updates on sales performance to the Chief Revenue Officer.
  • Market Analysis: Remain updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Client Feedback: Collect and relay client feedback to enhance products, services, and overall customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related area.
  • Highly driven and results-oriented with a proven sales record.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing capabilities.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Founder or in a Sales role at an early-stage startup.
  • Robust network in industries such as Deep tech, AI, Mining, Sustainability, Clean Technology, Energy, Health Tech, Software, Hardware, EV, Agri-tech, Manufacturing, Biotech, Natural Resources.
