Project Engineer, Land Development and Municipal Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our Land Development and Municipal Engineering Team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the execution and review of various storm, water, and wastewater design tasks, including site servicing and feasibility studies, stormwater management, and grading design.
Key Responsibilities- Design and review of municipal and land development projects, including roads, highways, site servicing, and stormwater management
- Collaboration with architects, contractors, and clients to design infrastructure that supports community growth
- Review of project plans and site conditions to ensure compliance with zoning laws and applicable regulations
- Development and implementation of sustainable design solutions that meet the needs of our clients and communities
- Participation in business development and proposal preparation to secure new projects and clients
- Mentorship and guidance of junior engineers and technicians to support their professional development
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario
- Minimum 3 years of experience in land development and municipal engineering
- Strong knowledge of design software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Ontario driver's license
