Distribution Journeyman/Apprentices Powerline Technicians

Valard Group of Companies, a leading utility contractor and part of the Quanta Group, the largest electrical power contractor in North America, is seeking qualified professionals to join its team as Distribution Journeyman Powerline Technicians/Apprentices.

We are looking for self-motivated, team-oriented individuals who are willing to work as part of a dynamic team that provides crucial support to Valard's projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Hold a Red Seal Powerline Technician Certificate or Powerline Technician Apprenticeship
  • Have distribution experience, which is considered an asset
  • Possess a Class 4 Rubber Glove experience, which is considered an asset
  • Hold a Working at Heights Certificate
  • Have Standard First Aid (CPR/AED) certification, which is considered an asset
  • Hold a Class 1 (AZ) or Class 3 (DZ) license, which is considered an asset
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and good work ethic
  • Be local to the area, as accommodations and leave of absence are not provided
