Position Overview:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and documenting residents' health status and nursing interventions.
  • Assisting residents with personal care needs as required.
  • Collaborating with the Care Manager to complete assessments and develop care plans.
  • Implementing safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all residents.
  • Participating in interdisciplinary care conferences and medication reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nursing program or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Active registration with the appropriate nursing regulatory body.
  • Current certification in Occupational First Aid Level 1.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in geriatric care.
  • Familiarity with MDS education (such as Gold Care or Point Click Care).

  • Providing personal care and support to residents as needed.
