Palliative Care Registered Practical Nurse

Bayshore Home Care Solutions is seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team in the Palliative Care department. As a Palliative Care RPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to clients in their homes, focusing on symptom management, pain control, and improving their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled clinical care to clients in their homes, including wound care, intravenous therapy, and health teaching.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  • Teach and delegate tasks to clients and their families, promoting independence and self-care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and new developments in palliative care.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Leap Training and Palliative Certificate considered an asset.
