RJ CAD SOLUTIONS INC. is seeking a highly skilled Architectural Assistant to join our team. As an Architectural Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our architects and designers in creating innovative and functional building designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD) software to visualize building designs and facilitate communication among team members.
  • Prepare proposals and presentations to showcase design concepts and ideas to clients and stakeholders.
  • Analyze technical documents and reports to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Tender contracts and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices for materials and services.
  • Assist in supervising construction projects to ensure timely completion and quality of work.
  • Prepare working drawings and specifications to guide construction teams.
  • Supervise architectural technical staff and provide guidance and support to ensure they meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Monitor and inspect work in progress to identify and address any issues or concerns.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of work.
  • 32 hours per week.
