About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our AIS, P&IC Secondary Engineering team at HITACHI ENERGY USA INC. As a System Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting project engineers and project lead engineers to develop project-specific engineering documents and drawings for submission to customers.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare electrical schematic diagrams in CAD tools like E3, AutoCAD, or similar tools for high voltage Breakers, Capacitor Banks, Disconnectors, Battery Energy Storage Systems, and other HVC Related Products (> 66kV and above).
  • Review SLD, Protection, and Trip Logics of customer/stakeholders.
  • Generate Bill of Materials (BoM) of modules and products and create part numbers using SAP.
  • Coordinate and review schematic diagrams and 2D and 3D drawings before submitting them to customers.
  • Prepare guaranteed technical parameters for various high voltage products.
  • Address technical queries raised by customers during project execution.
  • Support cross-functional teams like SCM, project management, and quality to understand customer requirements and specifications.
  • Support onsite installation and commissioning colleagues to understand customer drawings and provide technical support.
  • Coordinate with customers to resolve queries and ensure engineering drawings are approved on time.
  • Maintain and update documentation for respective projects as per quality process.

About You:

  • You have work authorization that permits you to work for HITACHI ENERGY USA INC in the United States.
  • You have 4-6 years of experience in Electrical Engineering with a bachelor's or diploma degree.
  • You have hands-on experience with tools like E3, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
  • You have experience with United States/North American design standards/IEEE, which is a positive factor.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
