Job Title: Kitchen Helper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at BW Developments Canada Ltd.

Job Summary

The Kitchen Helper will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits
  • Operate manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • Scour pots and pans
  • Keep records of the quantities of food used
  • Package take-out food
  • Portion and wrap foods
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars
  • Take customers' orders
Work Environment

The Kitchen Helper will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of experienced chefs and kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
