**Job Summary**

Armour Transportation Systems is seeking a skilled Trailer Technician to join our team at our English Drive location in Moncton, NB. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative and scheduled maintenance on our equipment, troubleshooting and repairing equipment to manufacturers' specifications, and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment to manufacturers' specifications, using a variety of tools and techniques
  • Write detailed explanations of work performed and review work orders to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Charge out all parts used for the specific task, ensuring accurate and timely billing

**Requirements:**

  • Licensed Commercial Trailer Technician Certification is an asset
  • Licensed or apprentice as a Heavy Duty Technician is an asset
  • Knowledge of Heavy Truck Garage safety principles and behaviors is essential
  • Experience in fabrication, welding, and/or tailgate repairs is an asset
  • Good written and oral communication skills are required
  • Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic
  • Valid Class 5 license is required
